Witch Hazel is native to North America, and so is one of the younger of known magical herbs. Witch Hazel, similar to the European elm and yew trees, is said to have powerful divinatory properties and its smoke can be used to enhance psychic and divinatory ability. It can also be used as a protective or banishing ingredient in spellwork.
