St John’s Wort is so named as it flower’s around the time of the Summer Solstice, or near St John’s day on the 24th of June.  It was used in potions during the Middle Ages to protect humans from diseases and demons.

Sprinkle a little of this herb in front of your mirror to dispel negative body images, burn in purification spells or cast at your door to banish negative influences.
